Hola Todos!
This week has been
pretty chill. Monday night we got a call from a member and they asked us if we
could go help with a funeral the next day, so we said we could and the next day
was pretty wild. We ended up speaking at the funeral, and walking in the
procession and helping dedicate the grave. It was an honor, and it was cool to help
the people who were mourning.
Wednesday, we had divisions with the District
leader in Boaco which were good. Thursday was a normal day of lots of work, and
Friday we went to the Juigalpa district meeting and then planned for the week
and worked the rest of the day. Saturday no one was home because for Easter
everyone goes on vacation, so that was kind of a long day but all is well.
Sunday was a great Easter and it was nice just to really focus on the Savior
and His resurrection. Today we got some good lunch and then bought some food
and stuff to update the kitchen. I think I’ll be here for a while so I thought I
would get the kitchen up to where I could actually cook. This week was great. Last week I think I forgot to mention that we had a baptism! Her name is Pauola
and she is super cool! We are still working with some of our other
investigators to help them be baptized by the end of this month.
This week I
ate some really weird stuff. The "rocky mountain oysters" grilled
were actually pretty good. they tasted just like beef but just had a weird
texture. Then the next day the same lady gave us cow brain soup with the extra
"rocky mountain oysters". That was disgusting. But hey now I have
tried it so that’s cool. Hopefully this week will be great too! Thanks for
everything!
